Trained in Brainspotting, Jessi is a Mental Health Practitioner who graduated with a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling from Sioux Falls Seminary. Jessi’s areas of expertise include grief counseling, addictions, trauma, family therapy, Borderline Personality Disorder, ADHD, Reactive Attachment Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Conduct Disorder, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder. Jessi is trained in Brainspotting, and incorporates play therapy techniques and art therapy techniques.

Nicole Peterson, MS, MHP

Mental Health Practitioner

 

Nicole is a Mental Health Practitioner who graduated with her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from South Dakota State University.  Nicole enjoys working with individuals, children, and families.  Her areas of expertise include working with victims of domestic violence, anxiety, depression and PTSD, as well as co-occurring mental health and chemical dependency disorders.  Nicole has immediate availability for clients at Luverne Counseling.

Licensed Independent Social Worker

 

Kim graduated from the University of North Dakota with a Master's Degree in Social Work.  Kim specializes in working with teens to adults of all ages.  Her background work experience includes navigating through life or changing health care transitions with clients, using a variety of treatment approaches.

Tayler Hoogeveen

Intern

 

Tayler is a current graduate student through University of South Dakota obtaining her Master’s in Social Work. Tayler enjoys working with individuals, groups, self-harm, suicidal tendencies, and borderline personality disorder. Tayler’s area of expertise include adolescents, trauma, depression, anxiety, substance use, oppositional defiant disorder, and conduct disorder. She is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Brainspotting.

Erica S. Hough, MA, LPCC

Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor

 

Trained in EMDR, Brainspotting, and DBT, Erica is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, who graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Adlerian Psychotherapy and Counseling from Adler Graduate School.


Erica has completed extensive training in trauma therapy, and is trained in EMDR and Brainspotting. Her areas of expertise include working with survivors of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, children in foster care or residential treatment, PTSD, ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD), Conduct Disorder, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder.


Erica provides individual, group, and family psychotherapy to children, adolescents and adults.
